What happens during a Salt Booth session

Dry Salt Therapy acts to cleanse the respiratory system and the skin, which helps to relieve congestion, inflammation and skin conditions. Sessions are non-invasive. Sessions are fully clothed. We recommend a light colored, loose fitting comfortable clothing. If you are using Dry Salt Therapy for a skin condition you will want that area exposed. 

Once you enter the SALT Booth, you can sit and relax. You can choose to listen to relaxing music, read a book or magazine, meditate, or simply rest.  You will find pure relaxation and tranquility away from your everyday stress, leaving you rejuvenated and fully energized. 

How Dry Salt Therapy works

Dry salt is super absorbent and acts like a sponge to foreign substances.  Salt absorbs foreign elements that cause various ailments and cleans along it's path through the respiratory system. 

Dry salt particles may help reduce inflammation in the entire respiratory tract and widen the airway passages.  Clean airways result in higher oxygen intake, increased energy, better sleep and and improved immune system.

The dry salt particles act as an anti-bacterial agent, dissolving bacteria and pollutants lodged in the respiratory tract. These are then expelled by the body. 

Dry salt can be beneficial for the appearance of your skin. Salt also acts as an anti-bacterial on your skin and is absorbed through your epidermis leaving your skin less oily and preventing future breakouts.
